28 Day Qigong Challenge is paused until tomorrow.

I have terrible Colitis right now. I can’t bend, so I decided to wait until tomorrow. But fear not! I haven’t given up!

In fact, my PT said that it’s probably just inflamed right now because I was eating badly, and now that I’m eating better my colon is trying to repair itself and it got inflamed but it’s healing, so I should back to normal by tomorrow, but I was doubled-over in pain last night so I decided that resting would be better than hurting my stomach more with Qigong breathing. Even though that never hurts, I don’t want to set off the pain again. So tomorrow with be Day 8!

Are you an HSP? Highly Sensitive Person?

I found this video years ago, and it was eye opening because I realized that I was.

Yoga Positions to Ease Painful Bloating and Gas

So for the past two days, after practicing Qigong, I’ve been getting pain in my lower abdomen. It felt like a build up of pressure, and I assumed that it was all the toxins trying to escape from my body through gas. I’ve heard that’s a common occurrence, actually something to strive for in Qigong. However, for some reason it was stuck, so I looked up some yoga on how to relieve that gas, and, what do you know, it worked and the pain is gone.

New Self Healing Hand Position #3

This hand position is quickly proving itself to be one of my favorites especially when I’m feeling worn down and tired.

With hands covering the heart, stomach, and lungs, we can clear the lower respiritory system and balance the heart while also beginning to aid with digestion.

Give yourself 15 - 20 minutes with this hand position and you’ll feel calmer, more relaxed, and refreshed.

Day 7

Practice: Bone Marrow Cleansing

Time: 6am I finally did it! (:

Position: South

Notes: I was tired at first so my concentration wasn’t fully there, but it didn’t seem to matter my Qi felt extremely strong. They always say that Qi is strongest in the morning and I could definitely feel that this morning. My only complaint is that now my bladder hurts, but I’ve heard that Qigong masters say, as weird as this is, that burping and flatulence are good after practicing Qigong because your body is releasing bad energy. Hopefully that’s all it is!

Have wonderful day!

(On a side note, I think Qigong is helping relieve my earwax. For some reason, earwax just builds up very quickly in my ears, and I have to drain them. After I’ve started Qigong it seems as though the wax is just falling out of my ear.)
